Getting Started with StaffPhotoBoard

Welcome to StaffPhotoBoard! This guide will help you get up and running quickly.

Table of Contents

1

Create Your Account

Getting started is easy! Simply click the "Sign In" button and create your account.

What you'll need:

  • A valid email address
  • Your organisation's name
  • Basic information about your team

Once you've created your account, you'll be taken to your dashboard where you can start building your photo board.

2

Set Up Your First Board

A sample board is created automatically when you sign up. You can rename it or create additional boards from your dashboard.

Getting started with boards:

  • Rename the sample board to match your organisation
  • Create additional boards from the dashboard
  • Click Manage on any board to add members and configure settings

Each board is a separate photo board that can be displayed independently — perfect for different departments, teams, or locations.

3

Add Members

Add members to your board individually using the Add Member button on the manage board page.

Member information:

  • Name (required)
  • Job title (optional)
  • Email address (optional)
  • Bio (optional)
  • Photo (optional)

For programmatic or bulk updates, the StaffPhotoBoard API allows you to sync members from external systems.

4

Customise Your Display

Use the Display Designer to customise how your photo board looks and feels.

Customisation options include:

  • Grid layout (number of columns)
  • Information visibility (name, title, email, bio)
  • Background colour and card style
  • Kiosk display settings

The Display Designer provides a live preview so you can see exactly how your board will look before going live.

5

Go Live!

Activate your board from the dashboard — this uses one of your licence slots. Once active, you can display it publicly.

Display your board via:

  • Kiosk mode — full-screen display on a dedicated screen or TV
  • Kiosk URL — share a read-only link that works on any device

For detailed instructions on setting up a dedicated display, see the Kiosk PC Setup Guide.
