How do I create my first photo board?

After signing up for StaffPhotoBoard, you can create your first board by going to your dashboard and clicking "Create Board". You can then customise it by adjusting settings like the board name, layout, and styling.

What information do I need to add team members?

For each team member, you'll need their full name. A profile photo and job title is recommended but optional. You can also add email contact information if desired. Team members can be added individually through the "Team" section in your dashboard.

What are the pricing plans?

How does the pricing work?

You pay £3 per board per month. You only pay for the boards you have active.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards through our secure Stripe payment processor.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, we offer a 14-day free trial. No credit card required to start. You can create your first board and test all features.

Can I deactivate boards to save money?

Yes! You can deactivate boards at any time to stop paying for them. Reactivate them later when you need them again.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your subscription settings. Changes take effect immediately, and we'll prorate any billing differences.

What devices can display my photo board?

Your photo board can be displayed on any device with a web browser, including computers, tablets, smartphones, and digital displays.

What image formats are supported?

We support JPEG and PNG. We recommend using high-quality images with a 4:5 aspect ratio (portrait).

How do I set up a kiosk display?

To set up a dedicated kiosk display, you'll need to obtain your board's kiosk URL from the dashboard and configure a PC to run Chrome in kiosk mode.

Can I display multiple boards on one kiosk PC?

Not natively. Each kiosk URL displays one board. You would need multiple PCs or a custom browser extension to rotate between boards.

What happens if the kiosk loses internet connection?

The board will show the last loaded state. Content will update automatically once connectivity is restored. No manual intervention is required.

Do kiosk URLs expire?

No. Kiosk URLs remain valid until you manually rotate the key or your subscription expires.

Can I use a tablet or phone as a kiosk display?

Yes, though setup may be different. Open the kiosk URL in Chrome and use the device's kiosk or guided access features (iOS: Guided Access, Android: Screen Pinning).

How do I update content shown on kiosk displays?

Make changes through the main dashboard. Kiosk displays will automatically refresh to show updated content within a few minutes.

Can I restrict kiosk access by IP address?

This is not currently supported. Kiosk URLs provide read-only access from any IP address. If you suspect your kiosk URL has been compromised, you can rotate the key from the dashboard settings.

Can I customize the appearance of my board?

Yes! Use the display designer to customize colours and layouts.

Can team members update their own information?

Currently, only board administrators can update team member information.

Is there a mobile app?

StaffPhotoBoard is a web-based application that works best on a Chromium based browser.

If I delete a board by mistake, can I get it back?

It may be possible to recover your board for a short period - contact support.

Can multiple users manage the same boards?

Currently it's only possible to have a single user account to manage all boards, however we're working on multi-user functionality.

How can I bulk import my photos and members?

Bulk import functionality is currently in development. If you need to import a large number of photos and member information, please contact our support team for assistance with your specific requirements.

Our boards were managed by someone who has left the organisation, and now we no longer have access. What can we do?
